ACM MobiCom 2009 is the 15th in a series of annual conferences sponsored by ACM SIGMOBILE dedicated to addressing the challenges in the areas of mobile computing and wireless and mobile networking. The MobiCom conference series serves as the premier international forum addressing networks, systems, algorithms, and applications that support the symbiosis of mobile computers and wireless networks. MobiCom is a highly selective conference focusing on all issues in mobile computing and wireless and mobile networking at the link layer and above. MobiCom 2009 will be held in September 20-25, 2009 in Beijing, China.

News
  • Directions on how to get from the PEK airport to the conference hotel in Beijing are now available. This PDF file has specific directions for getting to the hotel by taxi or by subway.
  • The Welcome Reception will be held Monday evening, 6:00pm-8:00pm, at the Houhai No. 5 bar and restaurant. Come enjoy refreshments, visit with old friends, and meet new ones, before the main conference starts Tuesday morning. Houhai No. 5 is located in the heart of the scenic Houhai area and was built from a historical Siheyuan or courtyard house. Its style is a spacious traditional Beijing courtyard with modern features such as a glass roof and an open balcony that overseas Lake ShiChahai, representing a unique design where the West meets the East. Busses will be running beginning at 5:45pm Monday evening to Houhai No. 5 for the reception.
  • Details on the conference Advance Program are now available. Please note that the times of some items have changed slightly from earlier versions of the Advance Program.
  • Information on the social event and conference dinner banquet is now available -- join us for dinner at the Great Wall of China! We will travel by bus to the Great Wall at Juyongguan (Juyong Pass), where you can explore the Wall before dinner in front of the Northern Gate of the Wall at Juyongguan.
MobiCom 2009 will be held at the InterContinental Hotel Beijing Beichen, just steps away from famous 2008 Beijing Olympic Park attractions such as the National Stadium (the "Bird's Nest") and the National Aquatics Center (the "Water Cube").
