The conference social event (gala
dinner) will take place on June 10 at Oron Castle, near Lausanne (VD).
Transportation to the castle and back to the hotels in Lausanne will be
provided.
Oron Castle
Oron is a medieval village
situated in the Haute-Broye at some 20 km from Lausanne. Its castle, built
between 1190 and 1210 to defend the inhabitants of the surrounding
countryside, still maintains its original, proud and medieval
aspect. A jewel in the cultural life of the area, Oron Castle is now also
reputed for its excellent food and banqueting facilities. Enjoy a
sumptuous reception in the ancient halls with monumental fireplaces and
Louis XIII furniture.
