MobiHoc 2007, the Eight ACM International Symposium on Mobile Ad Hoc Networking and Computing, is the Eight of a series of annual meetings sponsored by ACM SIGMOBILE, focusing on the latest research in the rapidly growing area of mobile ad hoc networking and computing.

MobiHoc 2007 will include a highly selective technical program, as well as hands-on research demonstrations, keynote, panel, and tutorials. Papers, posters and demos will cover topics in mobile ad hoc networks, sensor networks, wireless mesh networks, and ad hoc computing systems.

The first MobiHoc was held in 2000 in Boston, Massachusetts, as a workshop affiliated with the MobiCom conference also sponsored by SIGMOBILE. Since then, MobiHoc has become a separate symposium, held in 2001 at Long Beach, California, in 2002 at Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2003 at Annapolis, Maryland, in 2004 at Tokyo, Japan, in 2005 at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois and, in 2006, in Florence, Italy. MobiHoc 2007 will be held from September 9-14, 2007 in Montréal, Qc, Canada and will be co-located with MobiCom 2007.
