Registration

Registration for the conference, plus all tutorials and workshops, is being handled by a single registration process. A separate registration fee applies for the conference and for each tutorial or workshop for which you register, but you can register for all events on a single registration form.

This is a secure web server, so your registration information and credit card number are protected.

Alternatively, you can download a registration form and send it back by fax or by physical mail. The registration form is available in Acrobat PDF format, PostScript format, or plain text format.

The deadline for special discounted registration fees for early registration is September 10, 2004. Registration after this date is still available, although not at discounted rates. Mobicom 2004 registration site will be closed as of September 23, 2004, at 8:30am. Registration will reopen on-site on September 26, 2004, at 7:30am.

In addition to registering to attend the conference, you should also separately reserve a hotel room at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel, where the conference will be held. The cut-off date for reserving rooms at special rates is 5:00 p.m. local time at the hotel on August 28, 2004. Please note that there are a limited number of rooms at this discounted rate.

Registration Fees

Below are the registration fees for MobiCom 2004. All fees are in US Dollars.

Notes

Conference Registration includes attendance at all conference sessions and exhibits on September 28 through September 30; continental breakfast, Conference Lunches, and refreshment breaks on those days; the Welcome Reception on September 27; one ticket to the Conference Banquet Cruise on September 29; and one copy of the Conference Proceedings. Conference registration does not include Tutorials or Workshops. Additional tickets for the Conference Banquet Cruise and additional copies of the Conference Proceedings are available at additional cost.

Tutorial Registration includes attendance at each tutorial for which you register; a copy of the tutorial notes for that tutorial; and morning and/or afternoon refreshments during that tutorial. You may register for more than one tutorial; each registration fee is separate. Conference proceedings and workshop proceedings are not included with tutorial registration.

Workshop Registration for each workshop includes attendance at all sessions of that workshop; lunch and refreshment breaks during the workshop; and one copy of the Workshop Proceedings for that workshop. Additional Workshop Proceedings are available at additional cost. Conference Proceedings, conference attendance, tutorial notes, and tutorial attendance are not included with workshop registration.

Member registration rates are available for members of SIGMOBILE and/or ACM. You must provide your membership number with registration. If you are not currently a member, you should consider joining, getting your membership number, and then registering to get the discount registration fees.

Student registration fees are available for full-time students. You must provide your student ID number with your registration and must show proof of full-time student status such as your student ID card at the registration desk at the conference. Student registration includes all items in the full registration.

Cancellation Information: Written requests for refunds must be received by the ACM Member Services Department no later than September 1, 2004. Refunds are subject to a US $75 service charge. Registered participants who fail to attend or notify the ACM Member Services Department of cancellation by the above date are subject to the full fee.
