MobiCom 2002 will be held at the landmark Atlanta hotel, the Westin Peachtree Plaza - the tallest hotel in the western hemisphere. The hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta.
Travel Information The conference venue and the Atlanta downtown area is about a 25 minute drive from the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport (ATL).

WLAN Configuration Information/ Computing Facilities IEEE 802.11 wireless access will be available at the conference venue in addition to Ethernet ports. Participants will need to bring their own laptops with either internal or external IEEE 802.11/Ethernet cards. The configuration for IEEE 802.11 is as follows:

An Internet booth with a limited number of desktops with Internet connectivity will be also available during the conference. Dining Westin Peachtree Plaza The revolving Sun Dial Restaurant on the 71st floor offers sophisticated American fare and an impressive 360-degree view of the city skyline. Its revolving bar, on the 73rd floor, is a good spot for cocktails and light fare. The Cafe restaurant, located in the atrium lobby, serves buffet and à la carte breakfasts. The Tivoli Coffee Bar is open daily for coffee, drinks, tea, sandwiches, and pastries. There's also the International Bar and the adjoining Sidewalk Cafe.
